Privacy policy

We process as little personal data as possible. This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and loads no third-party content: fonts and map are stored on our own web space.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS processes the data generated when the website is accessed on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). We have concluded a data processing agreement with IONOS.

3. Server logs

When you access a page, your browser automatically transmits data that the server logs: IP address, date and time, page accessed, amount of data transferred, previously visited page (referrer), and browser and operating system. We need this data to operate the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). IONOS shortens the IP address in the logs (anonymisation) and keeps them for no more than eight weeks.

4. Contact form and email

If you write to us via the form or by email, we process your details (name, company, email address, phone number if provided, enquiry and message) in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is the initiation or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), otherwise our legitimate interest in answering (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The form does not store anything on the web server: your details are sent to our mailbox by email. To prevent misuse, we briefly count requests per sender using a checksum from which the IP address cannot be derived; this count is deleted after 48 hours at the latest.

Our email mailboxes are operated on our behalf by Microsoft as part of Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland). We handle enquiries in our ServiceNow ticket system (ServiceNow, Inc., 2225 Lawson Lane, Santa Clara, CA 95054, USA). Data processing agreements are in place with both providers (Art. 28 GDPR). A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out; Microsoft and ServiceNow are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision, Art. 45 GDPR).

We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations prevent this.

5. Applications

If you apply to us, we process your details and documents (name, contact details, desired position or location, message, CV and other documents) for the application process. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation of an employment relationship).

The application form does not store anything on the web server either: your documents are sent by email to our applications mailbox jobs@accelit.de, our contact mailbox and the management (Microsoft 365, see section 4). If no employment relationship results, we delete your data no later than six months after the end of the process. If we hire you, we transfer the necessary data to your personnel file.

6. Encryption

This website uses TLS encryption. You can recognise it by “https://” and the padlock symbol in your browser.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21). A short email to kontakt@accelit.de is all it takes.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
